RFA will maintain the connection between the application and ADS but it can't handle the connection conditions between ADS and ADH. Therefore, reconnecting to ADS from theapplication won't help in this situation. You should do as Christiaan suggested, investigate the infrastructure or configuration to find the root of the problem.

This response message means that the ADS (sink server your application connects to) has timed out the ADH (source server). Such a situation could be transient and self heal very quickly, or be more severe. If this occurs regularly on a production system it needs to be investigated, as it could be the symptom of an underlying problem in the server infrastructure or configuration.

What action to take depends on your application's use case. A typical course of action would be to wait a certain time for the service to become available again, and exit after a (configurable) down time. Checking the status of the service was covered here.

Hi Christiaan, thank you very much for your reply. We want to receive data in production all the time. So in this case if the downtime exceeds for certain period, then if we will try to reconnect to the ADS server (the way our application connects at startup), will that be of any help ?
