When will you release new RFA package which include the latest appendix_a, enumtype.def, RDMFieldDictionary and so on?

Could I know when will you release new RFA package which include the latest appendix_a, enumtype.def , RDMFieldDictionary, and so on?

It's because some temp FIDs name before they are defined, but recently we have new TRWF2 released, and all these FIDs already have official acronym.

Such as FID 6807, the latest acronym is "FST_TRD_DT", but in appendix_a file, it's definsed as "PRE_DT048"

As I see it the field dictionary files are included with the RFA package for convenience only. Same for any of the other Thomson Reuters SDKs.

You are always free to use the library with the latest and greatest field dictionary you can get your hands on.

Go to TR Software Downloads --> Category: MDS - General --> Products: TREP-RT Template Service Pack.

Download the latest one you can find and use the with the RFA library instead of the one that comes pre-packaged with the library package.

If you do so you'll find the the FID you mention is indeed consistently named in both appendix_a file and in RDMFieldDictionary file.

In the ideal world you wouldn't have to do any of this. Your application would connect to TREP-RT (RMDS), download the latest field dictionary and then use that (rather than using a local copy). Problem is that RMDS administrators do not always keep their infrastructure field dictionary as much up-to-date as you may want as a developer.
