RFA .NET 8.1.0.L1 compatability with Windows Server 2016

Hi.. We are upgrading from Windows Server 2008 (running RFA .Net 7.5.0.L1) to Windows Server 2016. Readme file in the Latest version RFA .Net API shows its compatible only for Windows Server 2008 and 2012. Could you please let us know if there are any known issues running this API on Windows Server 2016 or if a new version supporting 2016 will be released in near future. Thanks.

As far as I know, we do not have the plan to release a new version of RFA.NET or supporting it on Windows Server 2016.

According, to API compatibility matrix RFA.NET still not support on Windows Server 2016 but I believe that you should be able to run it on Windows Server 2016. Basically, RFA.NET is just .NET wrapper built on top of RFA C++. So the core functionality still using C++ runtime. You need to install Visual C++ runtime and .NET Framework version which match with the Visual Studio version to avoid issue about runtime library.

In term of support, if you found any issue, we will investigate the issue on supported OS instead.
