Asset under management in different funds in different industries

Hi!
We would like to find out if you can see asset under management in different funds in different industries. For example, we would like to see if asset under management to the health industry's funds increase during a health crisis in Sweden. Is this something you can see in Eikon? Is it also possible to change dates for these funds? Please answer to this question to frida_kratz@hotmail.com.
Thank you!

Fund’s AUM/TNA are available in Eikon API (field: TR.FundTotalNetAssets), but if you need to combine that with fund’s historical holdings/allocations to study weightings of Health-care sector, then Eikon API (at Lipper’s Fund level) do not offer that. The newer “RDP Funds API” offers the holdings/allocations data.

If you only want to focus the study at fund level, i.e. not at the holdings level of each fund, then yes, you can use Lipper Classification to study Sweden funds that are under the classification as “Equity Sector Healthcare” and study these funds AUM/TNA.

However, my understanding of the description of your goal seems to be fund’s net flows, not the simple changes of asset under managements (AUM or TNA). Net-flows means the net-amount (subscription – redemption) of the fund which generally representing the investor’s sentiment. Because change of AUM/TNA also reflects the valuation change of the underlying assets not just the net flows. E.g. There are only 4 Sweden funds reporting sufficient data for estimating net flows. Although their AUM/TNA grows from 2,940 million USD as of end March 2020 to 4,220 million USD as of end Dec. 2020, the net flows is only estimated around 230 million USD in-flow during the same period.

We have apps for estimating net-flows (ENF) in Eikon, but it currently do not available via API.
