How to pull historical Economic Indicator?

I'm trying to get historical data for `CNGYDY=ECI`. I'd like to find a way to use the Eikon API that pull the equivalent of

=RHistory("CNGYDY=ECI","ECONOMIC.Timestamp;ECONOMIC.Value"," START:29-Jun-2018 END:30-Mar-2020 INTERVAL:1Q",,"TSREPEAT:NO")

I have tried a few ways such as

ek.get_data('CNGYDY=ECI', ["ECONOMIC.Timestamp", "ECONOMIC.Value"], {'SDate':'1-1-2010', 'EDate':'1-1-2020'})

and

ek.get_timeseries('CNGYDY=ECI', interval='monthly')

but nothing worked. Would love to hear some suggestions! Thanks,
