Is it possible use Python to upload series into Datastream?

We are looking to upload some of our own series into Datastream for internal use. So to create a user created time series (we currently use the UCTS excel workbook).

Up to 2 attachments (including images) can be used with a maximum of 5.0 MiB each and 10.0 MiB total.

It is not functionality we have at the moment, it is something we are looking into in future releases.
