Python Eikon API get_timeseries or get_data to retrieving economic datatype. I am currently using USWDDLO5P in Eikon and excel plug in. What I have tried: df, err = ek.get_timeseries(["USWDDLO5P"])

@cservin

I have tried USWDDLO5P with my Eikon and it returns "No Results Found". Moreover, the ek.get_timeseries(...) method returns "Invalid RIC". Please share the screenshot of Eikon or Excel when retrieving the data of this RIC.

@cservin USWDDLO5P is a Datastream mnemonic and not an Eikon identifier. You can not access Datastream databases with the Eikon data API. Instead, you can use Datastream Web Services directly.
