DO_REPERMISSION event

Can you please provide some additional details on the DO_REPERMISSION event? What does this event signify and what is the proposed handling of it? Does the event fire upon an entitlement change at the PE code level, or does it only fire for a change in permissions for the corresponding user/position/application?

Hi @nleogas

This means that their has been some changed to the user's entitlements and you need to re-check their permissions before allowing continued access to any data that the user may have been entitled to prior to this event.

I was hoping that the actual change(s) would be carried in the event, but apparently that's not the case, so a re-checking is necessary.

There could potentially be some serious changes - so not practical to transmit in the event. More efficient to just let you know that something has changed and you can then just check permissions for those entities currently being consumed by the user.
